StoryTech Pvt Ltd. has created this binding Privacy Policy in order to disclose its use of personal data that you furnish to StoryTech Pvt. Ltd. when you access or use Workruit (as defined in the Terms of Service). This Privacy Policy is effective from February 01, 2017. Workruit's (App denoted under StoryTech Pvt. Ltd.) Privacy Policy covers only information that you bring into the mobile application (the "App"), and/or our website (the "Site") not any other information collected or processed by other web pages that Workruit links to or pulls from or devolves on it.
The terms Workruit or “we” or “us” or “our” or any grammatical variations of the preceding words refer to StoryTech Pvt. Ltd. The terms “you” or “your” refer to the users of any of the interfaces provided to Workruit out of your free will and voluntarily for use by Workruit. The above information also includes all rectifications, amendments and updates made to them periodically.
After you register on Workruit as a jobseeker or as an employer, we collect data including, but not limited to, user login credentials first and last name, employment & education history, salary data, years of experience, skills, and any other data which is provided to Workruit.
Workruit's App and Site allow you to authenticate and/or register using third-party social networks of which you may already have entered information about yourself. In our efforts to perform useful analytics, Workruit may collect data that you choose to allow us to access using the aforementioned social networks, and we may then filter, sanitize, customize, and sort that information to optimize the user experience.
Workruit makes maintaining privacy in your job search one of our top priorities. We do our best without any prejudice or liability to make your identity anonymous by concealing from employers, your first and last name, picture, and contact information. However, Workruit will provide this information to employers after you've matched with one of their job postings.
Workruit is not liable in any capacity if an employer is able to search on any third-party website or search engine or personal references or by any other means and discover your identity outside of the App or Site. It is solely your responsibility as a user of the App or Site to conceal or delete any information of which you feel may identify you.
The email address you provide is not shared with any employer or anyone outside the Workruit App or Site. When Workruit connects a jobseeker and an employer through in-app chat, we share your email address and phone number. You may also share your email address and phone number at your discretion.
At Workruit, we use the data that we collect from you to provide job recommendations and to communicate with you, while also utilizing it for improvement of our product offerings. At Workruit's discretion we may use any of the information that we collect from or about you to provide you our service, respond to you, and make improvements to the Site, the App, and our other products and services. The reasons for communication can include - notifications of changes to the App and/or the Site, enforcement of the terms of service and privacy policy, feedback regarding our service, issues regarding your account or profile, new feature announcements, statutory requirements or complying with best and bench marked industry practices, evolved or under evolution for any other reason approved by Workruit's management.
You may opt-out of receiving future communications from Workruit. You may change your preferences at any time by modifying your account by making the appropriate changes in the settings section of your account in the Apps or by contacting us via email.
Workruit and Workruit's management reserves, at its sole discretion the right to delete user's account at its own discretion. You may request to delete or pause your account by contacting us via email.
+Workruit may create links to other web sites. When you click on links on Workruit you may leave Workruit. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other web sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy statements.
Any action carried out by the company is deemed to be in the best interest of the users and any event or action leading to any loss or liability cannot be ascribed to the actions of the company and or to be treated as actions carried out in a non-prejudicial manner by the company.
We might make suitable amendments to the Privacy Policy. We shall endeavor to make our users aware of these amendments. It is expected that users of our apps read our Privacy Policy regularly to make themselves aware of any amendments made to our Privacy Policy. Workruit shall not be liable for any delay in the in publication of the amended Privacy Policy.
